ACIS announces the appointment of Dan Sandhu as Chief Executive Officer
ACIS, the UK's premier provider of Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) announced the appointment of Dan Sandhu as Chief Executive Officer.
ACIS leads the market in the provision of RTPI for UK bus operators and authorities. The Group currently tracks over 7,000 vehicles and delivers real time data to over 30,000 information points. ACIS has operations across the UK, Europe and the Middle East as well as currently piloting new business in the USA. ACIS is backed by the Carlyle Group. The Carlyle Group, is one of the worlds largest private equity firms with over $75 billion under management.
Formerly Chief Executive of Vertex's India operation, Dan Sandhu has been actively involved in building businesses in technology-enabled sectors, particularly with a strong customer service focus. During his time as CEO of Vertex India, he led the business to a ten-fold growth with a team exceeding 2,500 with clients in the UK and USA. In addition, Dan has supported the growth of technology and media businesses where he is in investor. Dan, a chartered accountant, has extensive international experience, having worked in Europe, the Far East and the USA.
